Lifetime Discipleship

The thing that I struggle with the most is...discipleship. Growing in Christ was easy for me when I was in college. Being heavily involved with one of UTC’s campus ministries, I was constantly surrounded by other Christians totally pre-occupied with the idea of becoming a stronger Christian. At the UTC CSC, fellowship is what brought us closer to Christ.

Now without that outlet, I’m constantly finding it harder and harder to plug in to my congregation which I’ve been a part of for four years.

For all of you religion junkies, how do you do keep a growing relationship with Christ?

Just Checking In

I've got to get internet connection at home. This is my new excuse for not making new entries.

But, as of Tuesday at about 7:00, I finished my second semester at grad school. Now I can breathe, maybe. Next semester is going to be quite different for me especially the month of January. In the up and coming spring semester I will be starting my new graduate research assistantship. This requires roughly 20 hours each week of research with two of my professors (studying olfaction and brain injury), and take a full load of classes. I will also be teaching two lab sections of the Cognitive Psychology course. All of this, and I will be working full-time at Fort-Wood for the month of January, at least. After my 6 month mark of working on 1/26, I plan on doing my job on a part time basis.

However, in February, I hope to have it easy (time-wise, not financially). So if you don't get a Christmas present from me this year, it's not because I don't love you.
